On May 14, 2016 the Westminster Elks Lodge No. 2346 held a Town Hall Bar-B-Q and invited Westminster Mayor Tri Ta. During the event, ER Robert Casanares presented the Mayor with an American Flag. The Mayor presented an Achievement Award to Westminster Exalted Ruler Robert Casanares. In addition, Westminster Secretary Pat Riggs, Treasure Ginny Austin and PER Ed Shull each received awards for their outstanding work in the community.
