On July 21^st, Sarah McCormick held an American Sign Language (ASL) Kids Day at the Grass Valley Elks Lodge No. 538.  The purpose of this event was to teach youth in the community sign language through various stories and crafts.  This event was conducted to complete the requirements to earn her Girl Scouts of America Gold Award, which is the highest award a girl scout may earn.
