CHEA Mid-Term Agenda – November 4-5, 2016
The Lodge Year will soon be nearly half over and it is already time to focus on Mid Term. Plan to join us November 4-5, 2016 in beautiful San Diego for the 2016 Mid-Term Conference at the Town & Country Conference Center, 500 Hotel Circle North, San Diego, CA 92108.
The Association conducts a Mid-Term Meeting during each calendar year, the exact time and place determined by the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees shall cause each Subordinate Lodge to be notified of the time and place of meetings not less than ninety (90) days prior to the date for such meeting on the Association. Any member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks in good standing in a Subordinate Lodge belonging to the Association who has duly registered for the Mid-Term Conference shall be eligible to attend and participate in all meetings of this Association, Any such member may make or second motions, submit reports and participate in all proceedings.

Leading Knight’s Conference
CHEA Officers and Committee Chairmen will share information about their committees and positions.
Leading Knights will learn what to expect during the year so they can prepare for the position of
Exalted Ruler.
Leading Knight’s and Officers Spouses Conference
Spouses of CHEA Officers and Leading Knights will hear about what to expect during their spouse’s
Exalted Ruler Year.

Elks National Foundation Dinner
The ENF Dinner is when the Lodges and Districts of CHEA measure their progress in meeting the
Grand Exalted Rulers Elks National Foundation per capita goal. The Association Vice Presidents will
make a presentation on behalf of their District. It is a great celebration and we encourage you to
come and support your District Association Vice President.
Some ask, “How much is enough?â€Â Enough is when the Elks have done all it can to support, honor and help our Veterans, including the elimination of homelessness; enough is by providing for America’s future through various scholarship programs, Hoop Shoots, Youth programs and Drug Awareness programs; and enough is when the communities served by our Lodges thrive, making Elkdom Shine for all to see.
