2026 Theme Child - Sarah
Sarah is a remarkable young girl whose journey reflects resilience, strength, and joy despite significant medical and develop-mental challenges. Sarah's early life was marked by a complex medical history.
Since beginning Speech-Language Therapy on January 11, 2024, Sarah has made meaningful progress in her ability to communicate and engage with others. Her therapy program focuses on motor speech production, communication, language, and social skills, all of which are essential areas supporting her over-all development and quality of life.
Therapy sessions often include play-based and interactive activities that encourage these social exchanges in a natural and supportive environment.
Physical Therapy focuses on improving Sarah's balance and walking abilities, helping her build strength, coordination, and independence. These skills allow her to better explore her environment and engage more fully in everyday activities.
Did you know that March is Purple Pig Month?
MARCH 1st: Wear Purple in recognition of Purple Pig
Month
Did you know March 1 is National Pig Day? National Pig Day is an event held annually on March 1 in the United States to celebrate the pig. Yes, this has nothing to do with the Purple Pig, but what a great way to have a fund raiser to get that last bit of money
in for the Major Project.
So henceforth, March 1 is to be declared “California and Hawaii Purple Pig Month.” You can do
something to help the Purple Pig grow just a little more for this year. Put on your thinking caps and come up with an event that your Lodge can do to celebrate the month and raise money for the Purple Pig. This is your last
chance to raise funds for the new Exalted Ruler to report when they do the Exalted Rulers March in May.
